By accessing or using YourProfitBook (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and YourProfitBook.

YourProfitBook is a web-based profit and loss tracking application designed for small business owners, contractors, and tradespeople in the United States. We provide tools to track income, expenses, budgets, and financial performance, as well as generate reports and receive AI-powered financial insights.

Important: YourProfitBook is not a licensed accounting firm, certified public accountant, financial advisor, or tax preparer. All information provided by YourProfitBook — including AI-generated insights, financial analyses, and tax estimates — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional financial, accounting, or tax advice. You should always consult a qualified professional before making financial or tax-related decisions.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, including your password.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
• Each account is intended for use by a single individual or business entity. Sharing account credentials is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized them.
• You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

YourProfitBook offers the following subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited features as described on our pricing page, including 1 business, 30 lifetime transactions, and 3 default categories.
• Pro Plan: $9.99 per month, billed monthly. Includes 3 businesses, unlimited transactions, custom categories, and report exports.
• Business Plan: $24.99 per month, billed monthly. Includes unlimited businesses, AI features, tax calculator, and all Pro features.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days' written notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

All subscription payments are final. We do not offer refunds on monthly subscription payments. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period. No partial month refunds will be issued.

One-time report purchases (such as premium PDF reports) are non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered.

Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of verified billing errors. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact [email protected] within 7 days of the charge.

Free plan users are limited to 30 lifetime transactions. This limit does not reset and is cumulative across all usage of the free plan.

Free plan users may see advertisements powered by Google AdSense while using the Service.

We reserve the right to modify free plan features and limitations at any time with reasonable notice to affected users.

By using YourProfitBook, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including tax evasion or fraud
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any connected systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our express written permission
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any part thereof without our express written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

You retain full ownership of all financial data, business information, and content you enter into YourProfitBook. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

By using the Service, you grant YourProfitBook a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes using your data to generate AI-powered insights, reports, and categorizations.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the financial data you enter into the Service.

YourProfitBook offers AI-powered features including automatic transaction categorization, financial insights and analysis, and tax liability estimates. These features are provided for informational and convenience purposes only.

AI-generated content does not constitute professional financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice. AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. Always verify AI-generated results and consult a qualified professional — such as a certified public accountant or licensed tax preparer — before making financial decisions based on information provided by the Service.

YourProfitBook is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YourProfitBook and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content, including financial insights and tax estimates
• Service interruptions, downtime, or temporary unavailability
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data
• Any third-party actions or services, including Stripe payment processing

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the total amount you have paid to YourProfitBook in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We specifically disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or by managing your subscription through the Billing page.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or any applicable law, without prior notice and without refund.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account termination, unless retention is required by applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
